We always recommend that you import your entire product catalog into SingleFeed because you should be sending all of those products to the free shopping engines. SingleFeed then allows you to exclude products from certain engines in two ways: via your feed or via the SingleFeed account center (in the Reporting interface). Depending on your needs, one may be more advantageous than the other. Option#1 can be beneficial if you have many products to exclude based on some high level criteria (like category, price range, brand) or if your ECP (ecommerce platform) has the ability to set product level engine inclusion/exclusion fields. Option #2 is beneficial if you want to exclude products based on the performance metrics you see in your reports, of if you intend to exclude only a few products.
Option #1: Excluding products via your feed
SingleFeed has a set of fields we like to call the "Include" fields. There is one field for each engine ("Include Shopzilla", "Include Nextag", etc) and each field accepts either a "Y" (send the product to that engine) or an "N" (don't send the product to that engine).
You can set up your include fields in your feed one of two ways.

Important notes:
Option: #2 Excluding products via the SingleFeed Reporting Interface
This way of excluding products is via the product reporting interface in SingleFeed. Run a product report. Then filter for a particular engine. Next to each product listing there is an "Include?" check box. You can check the box if you wish for that product to be excluded from that engine. This is particularly useful if you sort by performance metrics to find your worst performing products so that you can then remove them from an individual engine.

In order to activate this feature you need to update a radio button on the data sync settings page. Go to the Products tab, click the "upload product feed" button and then click the "data sync settings". Finally, select "account center" in the box labeled "Control engine 'include' fields via:"
