Shopping.com's new feed spec, which takes effect July 1, is attached. SingleFeed will keep you updated here on this topic. Feel free to post your own questions or thoughts to share with the community. Also see our announcement on this topic here.

Feel free to check out the original Shopping.com announcement, posted a few months ago in their news blog

A couple of the new feed spec changes may affect you:

Image Size - Shopping.com now requires an image that is at least 150 pixels on one side. SingleFeed does not validate your image URL size, so it's possible that some of your images are too small and may be rejected by Shopping.com. If this is the case for you, and your unable to determine which products are affected, we recommend that you contact Shopping.com support and request more information about which products are going to be affected. Just log into your Shopping.com merchant account, and then click the "help" tab in the upper right.

UPC/MPN - If you sell Computers, Electronics, or Media, please know that Shopping.com now requires a UPC or MPN for these types of products. UPC is preferred!

Some merchants have received emails from Shopping.com stating that some of their Unique Merchant SKU's (a Shopping.com field) are not unique. We only send Shopping.com unique values for this field, and I've confirmed that for a number of merchants already. I've asked Shopping.com for more info because this seems like a mistake on their part. We'll let you know when we find out more.

UPDATE:  Shopping.com admitted that there may have been a processing error with their system when they generated and emailed your compliance report. If you saw a number less than 100% for Unique Merchant SKU, you can safely disregard that stat. SingleFeed's system ensures that your products comply 100% with this new requirement!

There has been some confusion on what happens to your feed if some products don't meet their new requirements. Please know if you have rejected products, only those products will be removed from Shopping.com's listings. The rest of your products, the non-rejected ones, will be listed!

Many merchants are receiving "feed optimization reports" from Shopping.com which rate their products as either findable, partially-finadable or rejected.  Find out more about these reports in our Shopping.com feed optimization FAQ.
