Many of our customers have had difficulties entering NexTag account information in the correct way, so we’ve put together this explanation to guide you through the process.
NexTag will provide you with an FTP server name, typically “upload.nextag.com/private/YourUserName” as well as an FTP username and password. The following fields in the SingleFeed interface will need to entered in a specific way in order to activate the engine.
1. FTP Server:
Only enter the server name: upload.nextag.com (i.e. do not include ‘/private/YourUserName’)
2. Enter: '/private/username/data.txt' Case Sensitive!:
This is where you enter /private/YourUserName/data.txt (note that YourUserName is case sensitive and refers to your FTP user name, not your merchant center user name)
The rest of the fields will just include your FTP user name and password as well as your NexTag merchant account center user name and password. Enter them in and Save Changes and you should be good to go!
